Michelle Azema To All Instructors
Michelle Azéma has been working with children since her high school days. In her early 20’s she began working as a youth leader and has continued as a youth mentor in both volunteer and paid staff positions for almost thirty years. Michelle attended both Monroe Community College and Eastern Michigan, studying music therapy. Currently she helps lead the music ministry at her church. Michelle and her wonderful husband have been married for 28 years and they have three fabulous children, as well as a dozen or so “extra” youth who regularly gather around their kitchen island for food, laughs, and deep discussions.
Beginning her full time homeschooling adventure in 2010, she soon began organizing field trips and drama productions for other families. Around 2015 she helped launch a private homeschool co-op at her church. After graduating two of her homeschooled children, she once again is bringing her energy, creativity, and love of learning back to Homeschool Connections. Her passions include going on adventures with her family, reading, singing, home improvement projects, and teaching! Over the past decade she has taught many different classes such as… History, Geography, Government, Literature, a variety of Art classes, drama club, and most recently a Film & Music appreciation class.
