Jamie Kolleth To All Instructors

Jamie lives in Sterling Heights with her husband and two teenage sons. She has a Bachelors degree in biology from Eastern Michigan University but has always had a deep desire to teach.  She helped tutor first graders when she was in high school, worked at the mentally impaired Sterling Heights Summer Playground program full-time in college and after having children she volunteered daily at her own children's schools before she decided to start homeschooling in 2020.  

At that point she started up a social group for homeschoolers that met twice weekly for field trips and park meetups. She has always had a deep love of reading and literature and has always loved helping children learn to read and find joy in reading.  

In her free time she enjoys game nights with her family, reading, crafting, and spending time with her dogs, cat and chickens.
