Shelley Pruett To All Instructors

I’ve been married for 25 years, and family has always been the most important part of my life. My husband and I are now enjoying the new season of parenting adult kids, which has been both rewarding and bittersweet. I homeschooled my girls through their elementary years, and some of my favorite memories are simply the time we spent together learning and growing side by side. Since then, I’ve stayed involved in homeschool communities in different ways and really enjoy encouraging and teaching homeschooled children.

I love being creative, making art, hiking in the woods, and living a healthy lifestyle. The place I feel happiest and most at peace is the beach — especially anywhere by the ocean.

I’m excited and grateful to be part of the teaching team at Homeschool Connections again. I look forward to helping enrich young children’s lives through fun, engaging lessons and creative activities, while creating a positive and encouraging environment where they can learn and grow.
